The Hi-Life and Lions' Den
Because a democracy's longevity depends upon an educated, informed populace, the history of journalism is intricately intertwined with the history of the United States. The First Amendment to the Constitution attests to the importance assigned to freedom of the press by the authors of the Bill of Rights.
