• The No Child Left Behind Act requires that the Texas Education Agency take corrective action with respect to any local school district that fails to make adequate yearly progress, as defined by the State, by the end of the second full school year after the identification of the school. Henderson ISD and each HISD campus meets adequate yearly progress. The district and all campuses are not under an order of corrective action from the Texas Education Agency.
